Phillip Phillip’s has been my favorite since the beginning and he totally deserves to win.

But dude. His “winner’s choice” song was totally a rip off. Acoustic/Folk is my favorite type of music and I’ve literally heard songs like this a million times. Randy said it reminded him of Mumford and Sons. Literally the whole time I was watching the performance all I heard was like a combination of Timshel and Awake My Soul. The lyrics were even similar.

Don’t get me wrong, the song and performance was amazing and Phillip totally deserves to win. BUT, the song was just something that I’ve heard a million times before.
